Remember a few weeks ago somebody shoved Cucu and I remember noting how not a single teammate stuck up for him. Today, Ajax came in thinking they would bully us into submission with some seriously dangerous play but as a testament to our growth as a team - we got in the fight. Weghorst grabbing Lavia by the hair was met with three guys half his size stepping to him and Adarabioyo “accidentally” letting his leg drop into the goofy Ajax striker. Don’t believe Adarabioyo meant to cut him with a stud but I do think he meant to wrestle him. This is progress. And it is a necessary step to our evolution as a team. The play was nice, not too much to judge with the red and massive lead, but what stuck out to me was that we were not about to be bullied. KTBFFH!
