Players with contracts, particularly of two years or more (which Ferran and Ter Stegen have) don't have to go anywhere - that's what contracts are for. They may, or may not, choose to leave but ultimately, it's up to them. Two players who were pressured by the club (and a big section of the fan base) to do just that in recent seasons chose not to go and it turned out to be a good decision, not only for them but for Barca. They were Raphinha and FDJ.
