Fofana led the match in duels won with 7. Consistently created turn overs for us on defense. And he was second on the team with successful dribbles. Now, about the yellows. First, those are his first two cards all season! Give him a break. And it’s his first red card in 6 years… he isn’t the type of player to make rash or dangerous tackles. And the yellow cards? Those were his only two fouls of the game. Flemming had 4 fouls 3 of which came after a warning from the ref and he was never carded. Lastly, the second yellow on Fofana was the exact same foul that Worrell did to Palmer in the box. Both defenders got ball first and then studs on the ankle of the attacker. It’s a yellow to Fofan but in the box, it’s not a pen for Palmer? The rookie official was in over his head.(To be clear, we didn’t lose because of the ref or Fofana… we lost as we were wasteful in front of the goal, same as Leeds and same as most of the season. We lead the PL in xG but don’t convert).
