Atlético Madrid vs Barcelona, Champions League: Final Score 1-2 (3-2 agg), Atlético advance to semi-finals despite Barça’s second leg victory
I'm usually the most reactionary dougnut here, but i'm disappointed in a lot of the takes here. I'm as hurt as all of us but to put the blame on Raphina because he got injured while playing for his country is ludicrous. You think he wanted to get injured? Does a player ever want to get injured? Also to say Flick out is another IMO ridiculous take. The highline is risk and reward. It has been very generous to us these 2 Flick seasons, but it comes with conceding goals and expulsions. Our players should know that in situations like this you just gotta let the man through. Trust Joan. I guarantee 1 of the Siminone or Sorloth RCs they would of missed or Joan would of saved. The tie was lost because we didn't capitalize on our chances and a Musso masterclass. in this leg alone from what I can remember:-Yamal saved in the 1st minuted by a ridiculous Musso save-Ferran miss controlled a few Lamine passes that would have seen him clean through (yes some of the passes were misweighted by Yamal. -Olmo puts the ball to Mars trying a culer when he could of just fired it in -Fermin free header saved by Musso (this one really should of been a goal but great save)-Gavi shot blocked (100% by a hand IMO)-Araujo couldnt put a free header on target Thats like 6 big chances that we just didn't score on. It is what is. We outplayed them even with 10, but it wasnt enough cause we didnt make the most of our chances.
