Mallorca had a lot of chances, but like I said, last game was just horrible from a defensive standpoint m. Dean was bad, he got passed by so easily and the hands up thing pissed me off. Militao was spinning like a fidget spinner in the box for a good 15 mins. It is slightly concerning that our best defensive game was the first and from then on the attack got better while the defence went the other way. It is also true I would have loved for us to demolish all three teams by 4 goals at least, especially Mallorca. But better with 3 wins in the bag than a 1-1 draw where the ref if a bumbling blithering idiot that can’t tell what is a penalty and what is not. The team is still not playing to our expectations, but we do have very high expectations. We won’t just shift immediately to a pressing machine that is like a rock defensively and breathtaking in attack. I do see improvement, Mbappe is actually pressing and running when the ball is not in our perimeter. Vini is getting back to his best. Arda is good. Carreras might be our best signing from an overall standpoint. Dean was shaky but still he seems like a generational talent. If we are going undefeated while still figuring stuff out, imagine how much better we will be once we are fully functional. 2 weeks of rest will also be good for a lot of our players
