The idea that Lindor and Soto wouldn't be friends outside of work feels kind of obvious to me. One is a mid-20s gamer bro who just happens to be one of the best hitters of his generation, and the other is an early 30s family man who just happens to be one of the best shortstops of his generation. And while baseball is for our entertainment, the clubhouse is literally a work environment and not your favorite sitcom. It's okay that these guys aren't friends outside of work, or even work friends.There's probably enough smoke that Lindor and McNeil genuinely don't like eachother. I work with people I genuinely dislike. Never swung at any of them, though.Without reading, because I'm not unlocking that paywall, it feels like a nothing article with a spicy clickbaity headline made for people who call in to WFAN to share their braindead opinions and get them to subscribe for free with recurring payment.
