The Daily Hilario: Tuesday … and Wednesday, too!
This is a dangerous comment to throw out there. You haven't cited a source, you haven't given any context and you're drawing a sweeping conclusion from a sentence pulled from the unknown. You've done nothing apart from try to provoke conflict and hatred. As far as I'm aware no international football team has been shot at in America or any of the surrounding countries? There were articles written for the London olympics as 7/7 was just after the olympic announcement. There were articles about the Paris olympics due to terrorist attacks there. There were articles about the French world cup in 1998 because of a foiled terrorist attack. Voice of America - "Terror attacks headline threats to upcoming Paris Olympics"PBS - "Paris Olympics security means minorities and others treated as potential terror threats can't move freely" - a misleading headline as this was the case for targeted individualsThere's a paper called "Politics and the London 2012 Olympics: the (in)security Games" The New York Times - "After Coordinated Bombs, London Is Stunned, Bloodied and Stoic" - 2nd paragraph mentions Olympics What you've done here is just pure bias. You've plucked a random source that fits with the message you want to send out and generalised it to the whole of the "west". This is how misinformation spreads and how it always becomes "us vs them". I'm not American and I personally think Trump is a dangerous idiot, and what you've done is sort of out his playbook in how to incite hatred towards others.
