I’ll go with Tong. I certainly don’t think his struggles in his cup of coffee should be seen as consequential. He shouldn’t really be seen as a bounce back candidate. Nevertheless, it was shocking how many fans and pundits jumped off his hype train. I think he proves in 2026, what should have been obvious in 2025, that he is one of the most promising young pitchers in baseball. I say he makes 15 major league starts and ends up with down ballot ROY votes. I’m thinking he puts up numbers similar to the rookie year of Jason Isringhausen.The player that actually needs a bounce back year is Mark Vientos. This seems like a pivotal year for whether or not he will be seen as a player of consequence.
